From a single man's journey to Kumasi in 2005, to a registered Australian humanitarian organisation serving entire Ghanaian communities — this is our story.
Mercy to the World International was founded in 2005 by Beylal Racheha from Sydney, Australia. During his time in Ghana — particularly in Kumasi, West Africa — Beylal witnessed first-hand the struggles faced by the less fortunate: families living in poverty, children without access to education, and communities lacking even the most basic needs.
This experience created a deep sense of urgency in him to act. What began as a personal mission of compassion has grown into an organisation dedicated to delivering emergency relief, humanitarian aid, and sustainable development projects that uplift communities and bring hope to those most in need.
Beylal's vision continues to guide every well dug, every child sponsored, and every project undertaken: to serve humanity with mercy, dignity, and compassion, and to build bridges of support between Australia and Ghana for a brighter future.
"Charity does not decrease wealth." — A guiding principle of our workMercy to the World International responds swiftly to emergencies while undertaking sustainable development projects that break cycles of endemic poverty and create lasting change. As an organisation with a strong Australian identity, we strive to demonstrate universal compassion, peacebuilding, dignified living, and active citizenship — both locally and globally.
Whether you give once or stand with us for years, your contribution becomes clean water, education, and dignity for someone who needs it.
